Indiana Supreme Court rules against Democrats in fines suits

The Indiana Supreme Court today ruled it should not get involved in a lawsuit challenging the collection of fines handed down to House Democrats during their walkouts in the 2011 and 2012 sessions.  As Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon Smith reports, the Court ordered the fines should therefore stand. Richmond named 2013 Stellar Community

ISTEP test results to be reviewed by out-of-state firm

State education officials announced today they’ve hired a New Hampshire-based firm to review results of Indiana’s ISTEP exams.  In April, at least 78-thousand students taking the test were interrupted when the online site froze.
